The piping of our fabricated steel fittings and distance pieces comply with the requirements of the latest issue of SANS 62 – 1. Our sizes 50 mm up to and including 150 mm comes with the external and internal weld bead removed. Our 40 mm schedule
40 seamless pipe complies in all respects with the ANSI B36.10 specification.
All the threaded spool pipes are manufactured from a continuous pipe with the ends threaded in accordance with SANS 1109-1.
All our fabricated steel fittings conform to the test procedures and standards of quality as indicated in SANS 815-1.
JIS steel butt-weld fittings comply in all respects with the ANSI B16.9 specification.
The flanges of the flanged fittings and distance pieces are flat faced, drilled off centre and conforms with the requirements of SANS 1123, as applicable.
All our threading on fabricated steel fittings are screwed to the latest issue of SANS 1109-1.
Fittings are manufactured for above – and underground applications according to
customer requirements.
All our pipes and fittings are lined internally and coated externally with a functional non-tainting and non-toxic Fusion Bonded Powdered Epoxy Coating (FBPEC), (SANS 1217 Type 2) with minimum 250 microns and maximum 500 microns coat film
thickness. The internal lining of our fabricated steel pipes are done by an automatic rotational (FBPEC) application process, to ensure equal and even distribution of the powdered epoxy.
Our flanged distance pieces and flanged bends have an additional UV protective top coat applied on it for above ground applications. We do various colors for our fabricated pipes and fittings and for our hydrant stand pipe. Testing of the FBPEC coating and lining are done in accordance with the method as described in SANS 1217.
All our fabricated steel fittings conform to the test procedures and standards of quality as indicated in SANS 815-1:2010. Welding of JIS
steel butt-weld fittings comply in all respects with the ANSI B16.9 specification.
All our flanges are flat faced, drilled off centre and conform with the requirements of SANS 1123 (Table 1600/3), as applicable, appropriate to
the class of pipe specified.
All our threading on fabricated steel fittings must be screwed to the latest issue of SANS 1109-1:2017.
After inspection, we bubble wrap the fabricated steel pipes and fittings before delivery to our clients, for the protection of the coating during
transportation and storage.

We do various colors for our fabricated pipes and fittings (cornflower blue) and for our hydrant stand pipe (pigment 10 yellow). Testing of our lining material is done by the method given in SABS 1217:2015.
